Sun-kissed, cheerful nature The slightly dry rosé »eins zu eins« from Diehl, made from the Merlot grape variety, comes from the Palatinate and impresses with its pure drinking pleasure at a breathtaking price. It smells of fine fruity aromas on the nose, and on the palate it is easy to drink and uncomplicated. The owners of the Diehl winery, Andreas and Alexandra-Isabell Diehl, are known as the two cheerful people from the Palatinate. And it is precisely this state of mind that they know how to transfer to their wines in a wonderful way. The Edesheim couple work with great dedication and care to bring each grape variety into the bottles with its own individual character. This outrageously delicious Diehl Merlot Rosé »eins zu eins« shows once again how excellently the two succeed in doing this.
Typical - Fruity - Lively This Muscat-Trollinger Rosé comes from the Gold winery in Württemberg and is pleasantly sweet and sour. Raspberry, pomegranate and cherry aromas accompany a wonderful muscat scent. Fermented with the vineyard's own yeast in stainless steel tanks, the winery's natural production method is particularly evident. In the middle of the Remstal, the Gold wines are grown in harmony with nature. The winery also respects the natural balance of the vineyards with the help of its own compost, which is free of chemical and synthetic agents.
Whisky tribute to a prime minister. The Penderyn Icon of Wales Headliner is a tasteful homage to David Lloyd George, the only Welsh prime minister of Great Britain to date. He held the office between 1916 and 1922. In the Penderyn distillery, this remarkable single malt Welsh whisky is matured in ex-Jamaican rum and ex-ruby port casks, which gives it a multifaceted palette of aromas. At first sniff, a seductive scent of red berries and juicy strawberries rises to the nose, accompanied by delicate cream and a hint of cranberries. The light oak notes and the gentle vanilla nuances give the aroma a subtle depth, while nutmeg and cinnamon add a stimulating spiciness. On the palate, you can expect rich and sweet nuances of dried fruit and salted caramel. There is also a hint of honey, accompanied by a spicy note of black pepper. The subtle tannins bring a pleasant dryness. The finale is characterized by a gentle sweetness that leads into a dry, yet fruity finish. The Penderyn Icon of Wales Headliner is not only a journey through history and flavors, but also an honest tribute to a Welsh personality. The story of the Penderyn distillery begins in a small Welsh village called Penderyn. Inspired by a vision and the spirit of reviving times gone by, the distillery was founded in the 1990s. Under an all-female team spirit, a rich selection of handcrafted whiskies is created here that honor the heritage of Welsh whisky in every drop and embody the art of distilling in its purest form.
